Note to future users- Don't change your contact info if you're about to transfer domain!
I'm talking about transferring your domain OUT of this silly Get.Art company.
By simply changing my contact info the registrar (the larger company Get.Art uses) decided to automatically lock my domain for 60-days! I didn't realize this was going to happen, there was no warning, there's no FAQ about this. Nothing.
So why is that a problem? Because I wanted to transfer my domain and it was less than 30-days before expiration. Even though my "new" info was IDENTICAL to the "old" info, Get.Art would not override this default action (and they don't have any power with PublicDomainRegistry.com). I think that is bullsh*t. So, now I have to "renew" my domains so they won't expire, and wait for the lock to expire. Support had no empathy for my situation. Come on- I have to pay $32 because of some automatic security feature that didn't warn me of the consequences. Lousy.
I can't wait to transfer my domains out of here! I'm going with Tigertech.com. Look them up. They have much better customer service!
